This september i'm heading up to University to study CGI/VFX

I need to find myself a laptop that can use and render with programs such as Maya, Zbrush and Nuke, my budget is around £1000, What would you guys reccomend?

ACER Predator Helios would be my to-go. See HERE

Best laptop you can get for the price and the work you specified. Might need to buy an external hdd.

Other options are:

ASUS K501UW-AB78 15.6-inch
Acer Aspire VX 15 Gaming Laptop
Dell Inspiron i5577-7359BLK-PUS
Lenovo Z70 80FG00DCUS 17 inch Laptop
