The alienware x51. Can it run games such as MW3, BF3? If so, what kind of settings and what can I expect out of the FPS. This would be a great PC because of it's compact size.

The base Alienware X51 comes with an i3-2120 processor, and a GT 640.
This system will run battlefield 3 on minimum specifications. No higher.

This also comes in at $700 not including taxes and shipping.

You are able to custom order your own parts to built a computer in the same compact form, for $100 less, and a PC that has nearly twice the computational capabilities.

This PC is capable of playing any game you can throw at it with 60FPS+ on Max details.
It still remains as a small form factor PC. Dimensions (L x W x D) 13.86" x 6.89" x 13.78"

And best of all, it weighs in at only $600, after shipping and taxes are included. The inferior Alienware m51 is $700 before taxes and shipping, whilst being less than half the performance.

+1 to the idea of HD 7850.

Raidmax isn't a quality branded PSU, a cheap junky one but for it's feedback and rating, it's approved to deliver 90% of it's labeled output which is very sufficient for this PC.

However, I'm still against the idea of a $600 Gaming PC, try to push your budget a bit higher.

Are you saying that a GTX 660 and a Core i7 3770 wouldn't be able to run BF3 on ultra? That's some bull crap

Total nonesense and clearly from someone who hasn't got one! I have an X51 which has the i3 3230 3.3/NVidia GT545 (1GB DDR5)/4GB ram and I play BF3 at high setting with +60fps, it will even run at ultra but admittedly frame drops a bit when the action kicks off. I regularly play sim racing such as rFactor 2, Raceroom etc etc which is much more demanding than BF3 or COD and still hit over 60fps with high detail setting and that's with 26AI cars on track. So YES! it will run BF3 and you won't even hear the GPU fan speed up after 3 hours of gameplay!! FACT! from somebody who does have one.

You are totally wrong! It can, It does. I play it almost every day! and my specs are lower! see post above. I'm using the X51 on a 32" Samsung TV through the DVi channel. no it's not 1920 but it's 10x better than a 360 or PS3 (and yes I own them too) so I'm not talking out of my ass.
