Alright my TV only has one audio output, and it's a digital audio output, I can't use this for my headset that I want to use with my Television. My headset takes 3.5mm auxiliary audio, it can use the red and white rca, but I really prefer not using 2 adapters for one system of audio. I looked into digital audio output to 3.5mm devices, but some people say this doesn't work with auxiliary and is for something else, so I need to know how I can make my digital audio output into a 3.5mm auxiliary without ruining my electronics in anyway. By ruining it I mean having the wrong outputs and stuff to where it could give too many volts or fry my headset.
So what do I need, or how do I, use a digital audio output and make it go to a 3.5mm auxiliary output so my device can use the audio straight from my TV? I did check my TV and it only has digital.
I believe that digital audio is also called optical audio?

To this type of output for my headphones:
Oh and I don't have too much money to spend...
