I need help with my headset.

Ive got a Pulse-R headset for my computer, but Im having diffuculties with my mic. The issue is that while Skyping with my friend he only hears either static or hi-pitched sounds.

Did you try testing the microphone inputs yourself? Skype has a mic check in the options, and worst comes to worst you can use something to record the mic like the audacity or one note. If it's fine on your side and skype is set to use that microphone, then it's your friend that has the problem. If audacity/one note records fine but skype is off, it's probably a setting issue you can fix in the skype settings.
