Hey, I am having problems with my laptop and they are making me want to give up entirely. This is my last resort so any help would be hugely appreciated. (I am not sure if I have posted this in the right place so I apologise if it is in the wrong place)
First of all, I bought a new Acer Aspire E5-573 with Windows 8.1 pre-installeda few months back and decided that i wanted Linux Ubuntu as my main operating system. However after a few days of driver issues etc. I decided to return to Windows 7 because it was a system I was used to and I wasn't particularly fond of 8.
However, as soon as I return to Windows 7 I then realise that this laptops drivers doesn't support Windows 7 and I could no longer connect to the internet, wired or wireless. Therefore I attempt to download a driver so that it would work however I have no luck. After days of trying new things and nothing solving the problem, I decide to just take it as a learning experience and just to go out and buy Windows 10 and just get on with it.
So now I have burned the .iso to a DVD disc on a different computer and I have gone into the bios on the laptop to tell it to boot from DVD. All is good, however it won't do this. It just reloads Windows 7 each time leaving me extremely frustrated. Can anyone please help me with this?
Thanks.
