i need some opinions on what gaming laptop to buy

im looking for a laptop that can run skyrim on regular settings with no lag but i also need it for school, what should i get? my budget is $650 and im hoping to buy it soon, thank you!

You probably want to be looking for an i5 laptop with an Nvidia gt840m GPU.

If you can spend a little more I would look at the Lenovo y series they make some great budget gaming laptops that also look nice a sleek for school/work they have sli graphics cards and are a hole lot cheaper than normal gaming laptops you could probably find one around $700-800 if you look around that's what I would do you don't want to buy a laptop like he play a game on it nd have it break on you

A gtx850m will run AAA games comfortably at mostly medium/ some high settings at that resolution I believe.

Yes it will run Skryim just fine. IF you plan to carry it around, I would DEFINITELY not get a 17" computer. That won't even fit in most backpacks. You want to go 15.6 at the most.
