I need storage

ZTE ANDROID PHONE RUNNING OUT OF SPACE...DO I HAVE TO HAVE A SD CARD? CAN I JUST FREE UP SPACE BY MYSELF

I'm trying to get storage for ZTE PHONE, BUT I DON'T HAVE A SD CARD

Please don't type in all caps.

You don't need a SD card if you can either upload files you wish to save to a cloud or gmail account. Or if you can connect the phone to a computer, via USB cord, and you can move files you want to save to folders on the computer. Things like photos, music, videos, etc. However, this will not work with apps. Those you would have to uninstall to free up space.

Otherwise, to save files where you can easily access them, or to move apps to the SD card (if your device allows for that option) you would need a SD card.
