I need to reset my password on the welcolm page for a toshiba satellite

I gave my son my old laptop and he put a password in it that he forgot.

You will have to call Toshiba (yes, you may have to pay if it's out of warranty), authenticate yourself and have them help. We can and will not help to bypass passwords. Sorry...

Yep. We cannot verify that you own the laptop, but Toshiba may be able to help you out if you prove it's yours. Best of luck.
