I salvaged a speaker from a phone..

So I took apart this old phone I had and I found a speaker inside, so how would I power it? It has 2 golden color springs about 1 centimeter across from each other.

You would need to find out the ohm and frequency that the speaker operates on otherwise if the wrong ohms are applied the speaker will simply blow. There may also have been a resister in the loop to maintain the correct frequency and ohms to that speaker.
