I suddenly got low fps on GTA 5 upon whipping my alienware

Hello everyone. A month ago i whipped my alienware laptop due to it being cluttered. Upon whipping my alienware everything got deleted which meant everything had to be reinstalled again including gta 5. After i reinstalled the game i was expecting to get the normal 50+ fps but instead i was greeted with low fps. I have looked online everywhere for solutions but none of them work. Please help me as i love playing this game and i would appreciate any answer to help me fix this issue thanks.
