I switched from Apple TV 4K to the Roku Ultra for 1 month — here's what happened

It's a good device when it works.
Problem I have is more related to spending much more time with the device.
I don't think one month suffices in this regard: ROKU has a tendency to log out apps. This requires re-entering, somewhat arduously, subscription details, since not all app login is easy peasy by entering a code at an activation web site.
ROKU support's troubleshooting involves protocols that essentially have you update and reinstall everything and requiring a wholesale re-entering of subscriptions for all your apps.
