Current setup IP modem connected to a multi band router with several PC's, Tablets & phones connected via WiFi. When I previously set up a security camera system I realized that the vendor required some private information as well as network information. Like all WiFi vendors they can access my network all private information.
I thought setting them up the cameras as a GUEST on the GUEST connection word create the security separation I am looking for. I quickly realized that the cameras would not be able to access the internet with alerts to my mobile phones. So can you please explain how I can achieve this level of security when adding security cameras to a network.
