Usb doesn't carry video so depending on your laptop's features if it has Hdmi, an Hdmi to analog av powered adapter (powered for signal conversion) is possible.

Even if you are able to do this, and willing to spend the money, the picture will look like crap because you will be force-compressing the laptop's High Definition image to old TV low definition. Let the tube die my friend.

You can't use any cable but you could use VGA to composite video or HDMI to AV converter. And yeah it's going to look BAD.
