Solved! I want to take a hd singnal into tv

i want to take a hd singnal into tv and from there output it as with av cables to my capture card

ok so you want to run a hd signal from its source, lets say a ps3, to your tv and also capture at the same time? If your tv has video out then its as simple as connecting the composite cable from your tv to your pc. if it doesnt then you would have to split the hd signal, one to your tv and the other one convert in to composite. I think the simplest way is to use a HD-PVR they cost around $200.
