I was asking whether I should get a gaming laptop or an Xbox one console?

Depends on your budget...

You will get 720p upscalled medium gfx at 60q fps on an Xbox one at around $400-$500 or the same in euros or pounds.

To achieve the same on a laptop you need to spend around double what the console costs you.

PC gaming is not a cheap endeavor for those seeking good visuals. Expect to pay 1200 and more for "goodish" laptop gfx. 1600 of any of those 3 currencies to enter the arena of "high" gfx at 1080p and consistent 60 fps.
And yes, a laptop laptop at the same level of an xbox one would cost so much more, but the gap between a decent gaming pc and an xbox one is smaller which i why I recommended he think about it.

Ok im gonna level. I should have done this earlier. A gaming PC matching the performance of an xbox one will cost more than an xbox one, but not as much as a gaming laptop matching the xbox one, which is why I recommended it. If the OP is considering the two I would assume he is looking for the same performance. I simply wanted to offer the though that a gaming PC would be a better option over the laptop and that he should maybe consider an xbox vs a pc rather than a laptop. Sorry that I did not communicate that well.

I would recommend the same path for you OP. If you want the best visuals, go for a desktop! It will give you far better value than a laptop and is endlessly customizable to match your needs!
