I7 aspire 5750G fps issues

Hey guys i have an acer aspire 5750G specs are i7 2630Qm turbo boost to 2.9 ghz nvidia gforce gt 540M 2 gb 8 gig ram 750 gb harddrive ive tried everything to changing all my gfx to peformance put on high batery power for better peformance and i still get like 20 fps on call of dtuy 4 get bad fps on starcraft wow seems to be ok ... but has problems whats this problem ? how i fix btw my gfx drivers are fully updates

Plug in your laptop to AC power. Do you get better FPS?
Change your LCD from 1600x900 to 1366x768 resolution. FPS improve?
Test your graphics settings on CoD4 with the LOW settings. What kind of FPS do you get then?

What version of Graphics driver are you using?

with power in does not help , LCD resolution is alrdy on 1366X768 and my gfx are low and still get 20 - 50 fps ... and im using version 285.62

hey I have the same computer spec but different model. I have acer aspire 4750G i7-2630QM, GT540M 1GB and 8GB RAM, 750GB HD.

I also have FPS problems with various games. I ran 3DMark 06 and notified that my system is under performing compared to other similar system.
Can u run 3Dmark 06 benchmark test and give me a link to your results?
