IDT Audio Driver

Windows 8 64 bit
Ci5 3230M
HD 4000
4GB Ram

I have Razer Surround installed.



There was no sound coming from my laptop. This had happened before and troubleshooting was not helpful(I would always get no problems as the result of trouble shooting). So i uninstalled the IDT Audio Driver and now I cannot re-install it.

On Device manager
Under Audio i/p and o/p I have >Speakers(Razer surround Audio Controller)

and

Under Sound,video and game controllers I have
>Intel(R) Display Audio
>Razer Surround Audio Controller

So, I downloaded the IDT driver for my laptop from the HP official site and I get "Hardware detected is not supported by this IDT software" error and the installation aborts(Yes I did check the model number and everything. I even let HP identify the driver for me and that was the one I downloaded). Please help!!!! I get no sound at all from my laptop.



EDIT: HP Support Assistant does not detect anything wrong with the Audio driver and no other issue was reported.
