Manufacture's have different ways of splitting their drives up. The best way to know what the ratio is to ask someone who has the laptop or to go into a store and ask about the laptop personally to see if it is enough for you.

On the site you are buying your desired laptop from, it will show you under "Specifications" as something like WD 500GB HDD.

dont bother about it get what u want.. even if c is partitioned into 50gig.. we can repartition the hdd to our desired amount..
