I'm not a big computer user

I'm divided between the LENOVO G50 15.6" Laptop and the HP Pavilion 15-p189sa Refurbished 15.6” Laptop (yes it does come with an year warranty).
They are the same price and all I need it for is browsing, general words documents and for few applications.

I've asked advised to some geek colleagues and they debate constantly between the 2...some favour the intel pentium processor (quad core) and other obviously the •Intel® Core™ i5-4288U Processor.

I don't know what to buy!!!!!!...please help!

I would get the one with the i5 core because the processor has a more efficient architecture than the Pentium. I would also advise you to get the one with more RAM and HDD.
