My Spectrafire Electric fireplace/tv stand also has speakers that I would like to connect to my 40" Westinghouse TV. How do I do that the tv only shows audio in

If the TV doesn't have any audio outputs then you will need to get the audio from external sources directly.
If the fireplace speakers are passive you would also need an amplifier to drive them.
Check the owners manuals.
