Question Images look crap on iPhone 11 Pro max

I recently got the iPhone 11 Pro Max. If I take a photo on my 6s, the quality is amazing. If I take a photo on my 11 pro max, (the same shot, same lighting etc) it looks 10x worse! I don’t understand what’s wrong. Does anyone know why this is happening?

Did you remove all foils from the lenses?

All updates done?

Do you use the default camera app?

Are the settings of the camera set to default?

Maybe the camera is defective if all above is right.
