People who want to do DSLR comparison's with a phone is a joke. There is far more to DSLR photography than megapixel resolution, color and noise etc.... DSLR's have something called interchangeable lenses, which can offer things like low f-stops for narrow depth of field and less fisheye distortion, or on purpose fisheye distortion, lens filters etc... The lenses offer much better light sensitivity and a large flash can really wake up a room when pointed to reflect off a wall. I like to shoot most of my portraits at a low f-stop with a blurred background for artistic looking portraits that myself and my friends love.

Iphone vs a pocket point and shoot, yes that's a fair comparison.

But iphone vs DSLR is apples to oranges. They only way to make it a comparison is to ignore the reasons for using a DSLR over a point and shoot and it's many other functions.
