I am in a pickle here...

I have a Youtube channel (Simple video cutting with Adobe Premiere 11, nothing fancy), school is about to start for me, and I like to play some games that don't require an expensive piece of hardware to run (Minecraft, emulators, etc) My budget? $300 dollars (Maybe $350, but that's pushing it)

Long story short, I need to find a laptop that will fit my needs. I've narrowed it down to 4.

Please, someone help me out with this. I'm open to suggestions as well. When it comes to suggestions, preferred HDD size is <120 Gigs, RAM <2 Gigs and some sort of card reader built in, if possible. When it comes to windows 8 or 7, I really don't care, but please, NO CHROMEBOOKS! Battery life that is greater than a few hours would be nice, but not necessary.

I'm aware that, at this price, finding a laptop that fits all my needs/wants is going to be pretty damn hard. But, I'm staying with a 'Glass is half full' attitude for now.

When I looked, all 4 were shown as unavailable. 🙁
Also, not meaning to nitpick, but to inform, I think you meant to use the "greater than" (>) symbol. :)
In the meantime, I'll try to research some other options in your price range. Do you have any specific brand preferences?

No brand preferences. :) I wonder why my links didn't work...

Edit: Tested the links. They seem to be working fine for me 😀

The links work, but the 3 from newegg show as out of stock when I look. Still searching for options. This is a tough one. :)

Found my problem. When I went to newegg, my settings were for the UK and US dollars, instead of for the US and US dollars. WTF?

Still looking!!

Lol. Did you purchase something from UK? XD. Out of the 4, are you able to narrow it down to 2?

Based on what criteria? On CPU strength alone, this is how they rank from best to worst:

1. ASUS S200E-RB91T-CB (link 4)

2. TOSHIBA C55D-A5120 (link 1)

3. TOSHIBA C55T-A5123 (link 2)

4. ASUS X551MAV-EB01-B (link 3)

From what I've seen, for video editing I need 2 things. High CPU speed and high ammount of RAM. Everything else like HDD size or usb plug ammounts isn't a huge issue

Edit: You may be onto something with that Ultrabook (Link 4) That one's really nice, and it has some great specs!

Personally I would go with link 1 as it is the only one with a quad core processor but I am not familiar with amd's though.

So a 1.8 Ghz Quad core is better than a 2.3 Ghz dual core?

Should be, quad cores have the advantage that it can perform more tasks simultaneously. Its only when single thread tasks are run that not much of a difference is noticed.
