Looking for a laptop that can handle minecraft and cs:go at around 60fps
at low settings all around, as long as i can play the game with no problems.

At a budget of £350 max. but i CAN go up to £400 if i absolutely have to.

I already have a godly PC, but i now need a laptop to play some lowkey games on the go when i'm out somewhere, or even school. a.k.a i can't be arsed to get to my setup and i'd rather play in my bed lelelelelel
but seriously can someone help me pick a laptop, I've tried looking but there are SO MANY...

Thanks in advance everyone <3

The laptop should be fine for playing most games at 1366x768 resolution with medium settings.

Below is a link with some benchmarks to give you an idea of the performance. Click the highlighted FPS to get details of the laptop which provided that FPS. For example, Counter-Strike: GO has one result for 1366x768 (Medium Settings); 141.1 FPS. That result is from a ThinkPad T450s with an i5-5200u CPU.

You should get similar results or maybe slightly better. While the i5-4210m is a 4th gen CPU and the i5-5200u is a 5th gen CPU, the CPU performance difference between the two generations is pretty small; ~4% on average. But the i5-4210m has higher clockspeeds than the i5-5200u.

you could save some money if you went with a core i3 laptop

But the core i5 would have overall better performance since turbo boost automatically overclocks the CPU for better performance. The performance difference could mean the average person might postpone the purchase of a newer laptop by another year or two (varies from person to person). Thus buying a laptop with a Core i5 now can potentially save money in the future.
