Pic 7: submachine guns are not available for one and all in the US. Automatic weapons need to be registered with ATF and the ownder needs to pay for a tax stamp for each and every one. Local laws will prohibit citizens from buying these weapons outright.

you're missing the scuba divers that chased the street view car down the road in full scuba gear waving around harpoons
 
1) Its not a submachine gun, its a machine gun.
2) If its semi-automatic it does NOT need to be registered in most states. in NH I have weapons like this with no permits, but my select fire (meaning: fully automatic) has to be on a "Form 2" which requires a tax stamp. This weapon is simply a single shot "machine gun". easy to own and operate without any legal issues in a vast majority of Free America.
