incoming calls when the phone is off

I have a samsung galaxy s3 duos phone and I want to know the incoming calls that were received when my phone is shut down....can somebody please tell me how I can get to know of the incoming calls received during the time my phone was off via alerts or something???

They show up as missed calls once you turn your phone back on, I believe.
