Increasing the bass, loudness

So I've been googling on how to increase the bass or the loudness of my speakers.

What i found is basically some guys messing in the enhancements tab in their audio settings but i dont have anything more than the loudness equalization picture here

Is there any way to get the other options? is there any other way to increase the bass?

loudness equalization only changes volume levels to all be at a median range instead of the high-low-high-low you can get in some cases.

increasing the perceived bass response can be done by tweaking an equalizer. if you do not have an equalizer (which often is included in your audio (soundcard/onboard sound drivers) then you may want to download one. or, you could just change the eq in the programs you use if they support it though that will not be a pc-wide change only specific software.

http/recording.songstuff.com/article/eq_frequencies/ your lower frequencies are what you need to tweak up for more perceived bass. an example of a bass boosted eq would be http/zenverse.net/wp-content/uploads/2011/09/2011-09-17-11.08.55-am.png which pushes bass and treble higher than mids. good for electronica and similar. a straight flat even eq would produce the most true to recorded sound.

now, while its possible to boost the perceived bass, it is not going to make speakers which are incapable of decent bass output into crazy bass-heavy cans. it will help, but its only a nudge in the right direction and how much it affects sound has to do with the characteristics of your speakers.

before going any further you will want to list what speakers you use and explain your setup there are too many assumptions to really make any good suggestions other than eq.
