Hello, my Inspiron 1525 laptop screen is broken, can I connect it to my HP Pavilion (a1650y) monitor (HP w19b)somehow?

have you tried connecting via VGA cable?

there should be a function key that will switch it to the VGA port.

THANKS emerald! That worked, but: It's my grandaughter's laptop, it has been broken for several months now, and she forgot the password! Oh well, on to the next problem!
