I am very confused between the Inspiron 5558 and the Inspiron 5548.
Both have a Core i5-5200U clocked at 2.2GHz to 2.7GHz, 2 x 4GB DDR3L 1600MHz, 1TB 5400rpm HDD.
The major differences are:
Inspiron 5558 - 2GB Nvidia GeForce 920M, a single USB 3 and two USB 2, fiber body, an IPS panel.
Inspiron 5548 - 2GB AMD R7 M265, two USB 3 and single USB 2, brushed aluminum lid (body is still fiber) and a TN panel. This also has a backlit keyboard (Which I find very useful)
The 5548's panel has slightly higher brightness (245cd) compared to 5558's 207cd but lacks in contrast ratio (1180 vs 500).
I mainly wanted to know which would be the better purchase (both are priced almost the same).
Major things I want to know are:
How better of a viewing angle does the IPS screen provide over the TN?
Which graphics card performs better? (NOT FROM A BENCHMARKS POINT OF VIEW)
Is it worth sacrificing the extra USB 3, backlit keyboard and AMD R7 M265 for an IPS panel and a newer 920M.
