Inspiron Memory Problem installing

Dells, and laptops/notebooks in general, can be VERY picky about the memory they will work with. Did you install "Dell approved" memory or generic compatible memory?

Also, are you sure that you physically installed properly into the SO-DIMM slots? Did they click firmly into place?
