Hello. I had an old laptop lying around collecting dust. it still had the 2.5 inch hard drive installed. when i got this better laptop, i saw it didn't have a hard drive in it. so, i decided to put the old hard drive from the amd laptop and out it into this intel one. In retrospect, it seemed like everything would work, but its just the opposite. I'm trying desperately to install the wireless drivers for it, but every time i try, it gets an error. i forget the error code, but i will edit this thread once i find it. the laptop does work with Ethernet, but when i try and go wireless, nothing shows up. I'm trying to use the intel driver utility to install the drivers, and whenever i try to install it, i get this error code.

An error occurred during the installation of assembly
'Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.30729.1",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",processorArchitecture="amd64",type="win32".

At the end, it gives me another error code:0x80070643
