Installed new hardware now i have static

i recently installed a 8800gt and a antec trupower trio 550w psu. i noticed afterwards i have alot of static in my headset, i can even hear a change in the static when moving my mouse pointer. Also on ventrilo ppl say my mic gives off static or humming noise as well. any idea as to wat it could be and how to fix it? any help appreciated its annoying the hell out of me.

i have SigmaTel High Definition Audio, i belive its onboard. if any other info needed let me know

you have a bad earth somewhere , id start with the PSU tbh , a bad earthed psu can create all sorts of noise. if you have a spare swap it out and see
