Installing an SSD help

Hello,
I'll be buying a laptop soon. The msi ge62 Apache 276. It comes with Windows 10 on a 1 TB HDD. I'm also ordering a 120GB m.2 ssd. I want to put the OS on the SSD and use the HDD for everything else. Can anyone give instructions or a site with step by step instructions on how to do this?

Hey, thanks so much for the reply. However I was looking for instructions specifically for the cloning process and so on. I know where to install the SSD.
