Installing hdd from sony vaio laptop into toshiba satellite l775

I am installing my hdd from my sony vaio into my toshiba satellite l775 amd trying to configure settings

Your question is not clear...
- As long as both drives are with same interface (IDE / SATA), you can move the drive from Sony to Toshiba.
- Some laptops have special brackets for installing drives, and you should have one available if necessary
- You will have to clean reinstall and reactivate Windows on your Toshiba.

I have never seen this work on windows 7 systems, but I have been able to move the HDD from a windows 10 system to a different brand laptop. It leaves you with the problem of removing and reinstalling the drivers individually. The best option is to back up your files and do a clean windows installation once you move the HDD over.
