Installing Windows 7 on Acer Aspire 8730

I'm looking to install Windows 7 Professional on my Acer Aspire 8730, this requires a 'clean install' My laptop meets all the specs and I know is capable of running Windows 7, however because my HDD has to be wiped before installation will I lose the features on my laptop? Like the volume touchpad on the side, the web browser launch buttons and the empowering technology button?

All you'll need to do is download drivers for those things from Acer's site.

Hmm not quite, I've lost the functionality of all of my buttons on here and no programs will install that will revive them. Time for an email to Acer I think.
