The 920mx is faster than the Radeon 520 but in reality neither gpu is good for gaming.

Actually instead you should buy an apu like the ryzen 5 2400G which performs as good as an i5 8100 with a gtx 1030 and in the future when you'll have more money to spend you can buy a better gpu

depends on which area you focus. If you are a hard core gamer, better to go with 920mx. Otherwise I would choose 8th gen processor
