Don't ignore whatever Intel said or visioned.
A friend told me that many years ago, at a demo of their early micro-controllers, someone asked "what are you going to do with these tiny micro-controllers?" The reply was "We'll put one in every doorknob." That's a reality at every door of every hotel room today.
