internal hd is not working

My laptop 's internal HD is not working and Sony centre is said that they has changed that hd in 12 k . My laptop is 4 years old. Can I prepare it form local or not ?

A local shop or technician should be able to help you, yes. Changing a hard drive is not difficult as long as the hard drive is removable.
