Internet explorer not working when plugged into the mains

Hello,
for some reason if the laptop is pluged in internet explorer stopps working and i cant get on the web but i am still conected to the net, if its not plugged in it works fine

Have you tried another browser such as Firefox to see if it does the same?
What operating system are you running?
What version of Internet Explorer?
Are you running wireless network or wired?

thanks for replying, i have downloaded firefox and that works

No probs.

Maybe reinstall or upgrade Internet Explorer may fix the problem.

If your using Windows 7 update to IE9. Its much better than previous IE iterations. Also has hardware accleration.

But if your going to stick with firfox (which IMO is one of the best browsers) download Adblock, and Noscript.

That will keep your browser running snappy and keep you from getting pegged by malicious websites.
