I tried one of these with my Asus tf101 transformer and it worked well(original Icade un-rooted android 3.2.1). Mame4droid alsoworked flawlessly. The asus is just a little bit taller then the i pad so you need to mod for a perfect fit, but definitely works with more then just the ipad.
