Ios5 help?

hi i have an ipod touch 2nd gen (i know i posted under iphone but whatever) and apple dropped support for it so what im wondering is will i still be able to play my games and or any new ones or apps such as ibooks etc. its frustrating cause ios5 i cant i know its 2nd gen so its fine they dropped support that i get but what angers me is that most apps are updating to ios5 meaning i cant play them even book might stop working? any idea on what to do i have jailbroken if it helps/doesnt

So you're saying that apps which get iOS 5 support don't work on your iPod ?

havnt found any yet but i think they wont ill update if they stop working
