[citation][nom]Existencenow[/nom]In reply to this, and justifying BOTH sides of the market even tho "I" am rather anti apple. All new cars are overpriced for DEALER maintenances. In current time, its not the parts and time your paying for. It is the factors that these "parts" are proprietary. And as we see with macs, they do not run on 80 % of market software because they are essentially SOFTWARE proprietary. So now that compatibility and requirements are covered. Lets take the same into consideration for the labor/time factor. Even when i had to change out a clutch on a 92' tercel last year, it was simple and straightforward work. While when i did a simple oil change and basic tune up for a friends 07' Honda Civic. I was burden of having to work around far more "unnecessary" internal cosmetic panels to get the work done.Macs are made to NOT be customizable. For example they had to produce a DUAL BOOT feature so they could run windows side by side. rather than just code in a way that is more compatible. Or better yet even a APPLE programed "virtualization" rather than making there own customers purchase from the "enemy".[/citation]

OSX is based off of Unix. Unix/Linux, you know the operating system that is in 99% of all the world's fastest super computers. Why in the world would Unix want to be like MS? Just because this site (yes, not sight) is pro MS doesn't mean you should make short sighted comments like this.
