Apologies - I'm sure this has been discussed before but the solutions I've
tried haven't worked.

When trying to sent outgoing emails they end up in the Drafts folder and I
receive a System Administrator message 'Invalid message recipients'

I have a iPAQ 2210 & an email account with freeserve and a SMC WiFi CF
card - everything else functions OK

Email settings are:
Incoming: pop3.freeserve.net
Outgoing: smtp.freeserve.net
Domain: holidayjarratt.freeserve.net

I have tried removing the Domain field above and checking & unchecking the
'Outgoing mail server requires authentication' box as advised in other
posts.

I can receiving incoming mail but have found it impossible to send email
from my ipaq.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Are you trying to send mail from a remote location that uses a different
domain than your freeserve domain? If so you'll have to put in the local
smtp server address.

Brad

Many thanks for your speedy reply & advice - problem solved!

My home email uses ntlworld.com, so changing the smtp address to this has
enabled the sending of email from my iPaq.

I'm new to the whole wireless iPaq thing and wondered what will happen when
I try to sent email from a WiFi hotspot - say a local pub? Won't I have the
same problem again. Sorry if it's an obvious question - but when I don't
know the answer it's pretty difficult!!! :)

Regards
Adrian
