Is it possible to connect ipaq to inernet with usb-cable attached to pc?
What programs do i need? My ipaq is rather old and slow (ipaq 3130 with
windows ce version 3.0)

Tomi,

It is possible yes but you have to have a unit that runs at least Pocket PC
2002 and ActiveSync 3.5 or higher.

There used to be a procedure on the Tekguru site to do that with PPC 2000 devices. Unfortunately I
can't seem to find the link anymore. You might search around or post to their forums for help...

machine. =)

HP stopped selling the PPC 2002 upgrade for the 31XX and 36XX series a long time ago. You might find
a copy on Ebay...

Tomi,

I do not believe so. I am trying to remember but I'm not 100% sure there
ever was a PPC 2002 upgrade for the 3100s.

Yes there was. My brother upgraded his old 31XX device. It was slow though due to the limited RAM
and ROM on the device...
