"Clips are limited to one minute in length and video can only be shot at a maximum rate of around three frames per second (3GS boasts 30fps). Resolution-wise, you're looking at 160×213 (compared with the 640×480 SD-quality video shot by the 3GS)."

In my opinion, not worth it in the slighest sense. You're almost better off just telling people what happened. Just not worth it at all, and yet they're making us PAY if we want it!

[citation][nom]rean24[/nom]Try moving the camera around and see it will start to lag and the screen will split , thats cuz of the low FPS.[/citation]

Still, I bet it´s more than 3 FPS, way to reward the costumers for spending their money in apple hardware.

Anyone else think Sliem has to be an iPhone user?..
I swear Tom's posted an article on delusional iPhone users recently too...

[citation][nom]ShqTth[/nom]If you go into the camera application, it displays video that the camera sees in real time. So, if what the camera sees can be displayed real time (resolution on screen), then I don't see why that same video data can't be saved to a file instead of being displayed on the screen. So, Apple is full of crap.[/citation]
Compressing and storing to memory takes a lot of work.

lol, the jailbroken 2g/3g's have had mpeg2 384 x 288 @ 13fps for quite a bit of time. Of course, it is not perfect, but it is not limited to a creepy 1 minute.

Wait, they are charging to add a feature that most other phones have including one of there own, this is why people don't like company like Apple.

[citation][nom]sliem[/nom]What do you want, phone that can make and take call, phone that can take 12MP pictures and phone that can record 1080p for more than 30 minutes.[/citation]

How'd you know?

[citation][nom]830hobbes[/nom]3 frames per second? I'd rather kiss my cousin...[/citation]

If she is over 20 and hot I rather kiss your cousing too 😛 But yeah those resolutions and FPS suck big time.. :/

Sliem, "1898" was referring to you.

Read about what you're suffering from ---->HERE!!!!

Sony Ericsson Satio ,Samsung W880 AMOLED 12M both can do 12MP photo and 720p video and the new Broadcom BCM2763 VideoCore IV chip can do 1080p video and up 20MP photos.

Umm, who cares that the 2G/3G can't record video unless you have one. The 3GS can. So why diss a previous gen iPhone _today_?

[citation][nom]830hobbes[/nom]3 frames per second? I'd rather kiss my cousin...[/citation]
I'll kiss your cousin as long as she's hot...

Bunch of BS.

I guess Apple and Sony are alike... make a great platform, and then don't let anybody use it fully (iPhone and the PSP). Bunch of pricks.
