Iphone 3G getting slower

I have an iphone 3g and it is still in perfect condition. I don't understand why it keeps getting slower and slower. Every time I open an app that requires the internet, it has to be opened twice for it to work. I swear that ever since the new 3gs came out my phone became a lot slower. I've tried restarting my phone multiple times but that does nothing.

Anybody know what's going on?

I agree. My 3G has turned into a brick since the 3GS came out. No matter what I do I can't get it back to its original speed. I haven't even seen a 3GS so it's no failure by comparison. So strange.

I have an iPhone 3GS and it doesn't have that problem at all. If you slide the hold button to the left and then hold down the home key, your iPhone will reset and clear the cache. This will make it faster. [strike]*teehee*[/strike]

Guess you couldn't read the part about it being the 3G they had trouble with not the 3GS, which is also probably why you recommend a wipe, instead of simply going in and clearing caches. [:thegreatgrapeape:5]
