LOL. Voted down because I don't want flash on my device? Sorry guys but I value battery life over web ads and embedded video. I don't need that crap on my mobile phone and never will. Flash is disabled on my desktop because of how annoying rollover ads and video ads are. Crap is annoying and a CPU hog. I don't want it on my desktop and I certainly don't want it on my phone. Sure, there are some sites that I wish I could visit without seeing the "You must install the latest flash player" (Hulu for example) but the negatives of mobile flash overwhelming outnumber the positives of mobile flash. No thanks.

If you want flash that is fine but give me the option to turn it off or don't give it to me at all. Flash is not even on my list of things I look for in a mobile phone.

Agreed. I think its awesome that phones now a days can do so much more than what a phone was capable of 5, or even 10 years ago. But in the end, my phone is a PHONE. If I have the option of playing on it all day, and dying on me when I NEED it, or have it NOT have flash, and other similiar battery draining crap on it.. and have PLENTY of battery when I need it.. I'll take the extra battery life. I don't like the idea of being given the option of all this battery destroying features, and in turn having to charge my phone EVERY day. Gimme a phone that can last a couple days without me needing to worry about recharging, and all the features these "anti-apple/pro-droid" lemmings PREACH about... And I'm game. Until then, shut up. You don't know who I am, and what I choose to, or not to, buy does NOT define who I am, but only what I like. So shove off.

No, you are being voted down because you give negative feedback about a device because it offers features that you choose not to use. Just because you choose not to use certain features does not mean that a product or device is bad for using or offering them to everyone else. If these phone/devices offer features that do not suit you then buy a different product, I am sure you would save a fair amount of money buying a basic model. So stop bitching about things that do not interest you personally.

Actually, I bought an Android phone because:
Better hardware(Resolution, screen size, processor, ram, form factor, removable storage)
Better networks(Verizon, Sprint, T-Mobile, and AT&T)
Better OS(multi-tasking, extremely customizable, seamless Google integration, more robust interface, open source)
No gestapo overseer dictating what I can and can't do with my phone
No unnecessary limitations to protect a companies income(Flash restrictions, app restrictions)
Oh, and it's not made by Apple.

Now, why did you get your iPhone? Because it's pretty? Because all of your friends think you are cool?

OK, to the people saying " my phone is a PHONE, I need to for calling and so on and so forth..." if that's what you need nuy a PHONE not a SMARTPHONE!!! I mean you spend a ton of cash on the fancy schmancy iPhone and than you say that all you need is call stability?!?!? I mean, c'mon, really? You're serious? The iPhone is an iPod and NDS in one, and for that its good, you know, fun games, easy to you.. for kids😀 If I intend to buy a smartphone that is actually capable of something than i get an Android phone, if nothing else I'm certain that unlike the iPhone OS that after some huge brainstorming decided to add multitasking and folders after ~5 years of existence Android moves forward with the speed of light It still may not be as flashy as "the" OS but it's way more fun after one month when you can change every single facet of it, unlike with the iPhone with which after I while you get tired of the delete and close animations that re so cool. I just want to see a discussion like this after one year, after Apple go down like every fashion trend eventually does, and they are due, and real giants come in the picture of smartphones, ones like Nokia, Google and Microsoft. I have an idea, if you don't have an iphone just don't make any comment about the new one, go ahead and look at your feature android phone and leave this article for people that can give feedback and actually interested in this product. This is not a hate page, is a site about gadget news, not a blog to fight who is better or worst. Google wants your money as much as Apple does, so just pick what company you give it to, and stop complaining about the other.
I have own every generation of the iPhone and my girlfriend has an android phone, i don't thin she is stupid r she doesn't think i'm stupid for having an apple product, we respect our decisions and let the other one go on with their lives. LOL
