iPhone 5 is bricked. Cant use iTunes to restore, also it was due to iOS8 please help! Please reply ASAP!!

My iPhone 5 is bricked. I cannot use it becuase i tried to get iOS8, it didnt work and i cannot restore from iTunes as it just brings a message saying that dont have an activated iphone...

if you want to get back to 7.1.2
*try at your own risk*
1. if not already download itunes
2. download the firmware (7.1.2)
3. put iphone in DFU mode
4. now open itunes
5. right click on restore, and find the firmware you downloaded
6. now let it restore ( it should work, if not sorry i tried)
