Iphone Constantly Searching for signal/carrier

Hello to you all. Yesterday, all of the sudden, my iphone lost all signal and the carrier and since then it says, where the signal and operator were supposed to show, ''searching'' . I tried my SIM card in another phone and it works. What may be the problem and how can i solve it ? thank you in advance .
