iPhone Google Cardboard

Hello!

So the google cardboard have been out for a while now and at first it was only compatible with android. But I have heard that iPhones can now work in it. They are mainly talking about 6 and 6+ but how well can you use it with an iPhone 5/5s? It's really cheap so should I buy it?

According to that, the 5/5s are supported. Don't know how well it will run though.
